Policy Validation

Policy validation is deployment support for teams that already have a robot policy and want an independent, simulation-based assessment before shipping it — beyond a single scoped Nepher Verified certification.

Request it at https://nepher.ai/enterprise/contact?interest=policy_validation.

What's Included

  • Evaluation design — Nepher's team defines the environments, robot configuration, and metrics relevant to your deployment scenario, drawing on EnvHub scenes and the eval-nav pipeline used across the platform.
  • Simulation runs — your policy is tested in Isaac Sim / Isaac Lab under the agreed conditions.
  • Results report — a report of scores, failure cases, and recommendations.
  • Optional Nepher Verified application — if your policy meets a stated evaluation scope, you can carry the results into a formal Nepher Verified application.

How It Relates to Nepher Verified

Policy validation and Nepher Verified use the same underlying evaluation infrastructure, but serve different purposes:

Policy ValidationNepher Verified
GoalInternal assessment and deployment readinessPublic, citable certification
OutputPrivate results reportVerification status (verified / failed) with published scope
UseInform your own go/no-go decisionReference externally, e.g. in marketing or sales

Many teams start with policy validation and later apply what they learn toward a Nepher Verified application.

Private / Confidential Engagements

Standard sponsored tournaments and hackathons publish results openly. If you need a private, siloed engagement (confidential data, proprietary IP), say so in your contact request — Nepher will scope privacy and delivery terms separately. See Private engagements.

Scope Limitations

As with all simulation-based evaluation on Nepher, policy validation assesses performance within the conditions that were tested. It does not guarantee real-world safety or performance outside that scope — see the Nepher Verified disclaimer, which applies equally here. Treat validation results as one input into your broader deployment risk process, not a replacement for it.

Getting Started

  1. Submit a request at https://nepher.ai/enterprise/contact?interest=policy_validation describing your policy and deployment scenario.
  2. Nepher scopes the evaluation — robot, environments, and metrics.
  3. Runs execute on Nepher's simulation infrastructure.
  4. You receive a results report, and can optionally pursue Nepher Verified certification.
