Example Badges

Manufacturers use the Nepher Verified badge to communicate a concrete, scope-limited simulation result — not a blanket claim of real-world safety. Examples of what a verified badge statement can look like:

• Successfully completed autonomous warehouse navigation benchmark — the policy passed Nepher's held-out warehouse navigation suite within the stated success-rate and collision limits.
• Ranked #3 in the Nepher Robotics manipulation benchmark — the policy placed in the top tier of a standardized manipulation evaluation under independent scoring.
• Met target metrics on a custom industrial pick-and-place suite — scope-limited validation confirmed reproducibility across repeated simulation runs before hardware trials.

What "Scope" Means

Every verification is bound to specific, published parameters, similar to how a tournament is scoped to a fixed robot, environment, and metric:

• Robot / hardware target — the specific robot model or platform the policy was evaluated on
• Environments — the EnvHub OpenUSD scenes used for evaluation
• Metrics and thresholds — the objective scoring criteria the policy had to meet (e.g. success rate, time-to-completion)
• Evaluation date and software versions — the Isaac Sim / Isaac Lab versions and eval-nav config in effect at verification time

A policy verified against one scope is not automatically verified for a different robot, environment, task variation, or hardware revision. Re-verification is required when any of these change materially.

Verification Statuses

pending	Application submitted, awaiting scheduling
in_review	Evaluation is actively running against the stated scope
verified	The policy passed the stated scope
failed	The policy did not meet the stated scope's thresholds
expired	A prior verification's scope is no longer current (e.g. software version drift) and needs renewal

Why It's Scoped, Not a Safety Guarantee

Simulation evaluation — even rigorous, reproducible evaluation — cannot cover every real-world condition: sensor noise, unmodeled hardware wear, unusual environments, or edge cases outside the tested distribution. Nepher Verified is strong evidence of demonstrated performance within the scope that was tested, not a certification of general safety. Treat it as one input to your own deployment risk assessment, not a substitute for it.
